Swimming Pool Biljoenbad, Velp
Client: Municipality of Rheden
Architect: Slangen + Koenis Architecten
System: Climotion, single supply duct
Installation: Van Dorp
The Biljoenbad is a newly built swimming pool in Velp with a separate ‘target group pool’. The target group pool offers residents in various stages of life, from children to the elderly, the opportunity to swim. In addition to this bath, there is a separate paddling pool to make the place truly suitable for all ages.
Future-proof swimming pool
The municipality of Rheden wanted the Biljoenbad to be ready for the future. Naturally, this includes a future-proof heating, cooling and air-conditioning system. It is therefore that the Climotion system had been chosen.
Comfortable swimming climate
Climotion ensures that the pool’s visitors do not feel cold when they come out of the water. This is because the innovative system makes sure that warm air does not rise to the roof.
In addition, saving energy is an important condition for any future-proof building. By choosing Climotion, the municipality of Rheden has been able to significantly reduce the pool’s energy consumption for heating, cooling and ventilation.
